How to Join
Please complete the following three steps in order.
Step 1 — Create Your Free DUPR Account
DUPR is the rating system used by all NPC members.
- Create your free DUPR account.
- Make note of your DUPR ID — you’ll need it later in Step 3.
Step 2 — Register and Pay Through Pickleball Canada
This is where you purchase your memberships.
Before you begin, have a Visa or Mastercard available.
- Visit the Nanaimo Pickleball Club page on the Pickleball Canada website.
- Complete the registration form.
- Select your NPC membership type:
- Annual Membership
- 37-Day Guest Membership
- 65-Day Guest Membership
- Complete payment.
Already a Pickleball Canada member through another club?
You only need one Pickleball Canada membership, no matter how many clubs you belong to.
If you’re already a Pickleball Canada member through another club (for example, Qualicum Beach), you do not pay the Pickleball Canada or Pickleball BC membership fees again when joining the Nanaimo Pickleball Club, provided your existing membership is current and in the same province. Instead, simply add the Nanaimo Pickleball Club to your existing Pickleball Canada membership during registration. You’ll pay only the Nanaimo Pickleball Club membership fee, and your Pickleball Canada membership will be linked to both clubs.
Step 3 — Set Up Your CourtReserve Profile
After completing your payment, create your account in CourtReserve, the Club’s court booking system.
- Create your CourtReserve account.
- Select the NPC membership type that matches the membership you purchased.
- The membership fee will display as $0.00 because you have already paid through Pickleball Canada.
- Enter your DUPR ID.
- Complete the questionnaire.
- Sign all required waivers.
Your membership is not complete and you will not be able to book sessions until this step is finished.
What Happens Next?
Once you’ve completed all three steps:
- An NPC Executive member will review your profile.
- Your Pickleball Canada registration will be verified.
- We will contact you to discuss and assign your club rating.
- Your membership will be approved.
Approval typically takes 1–2 business days.
Once approved, you’ll be able to register for Club sessions and start playing.
