How to pay for your Nanaimo Pickleball Club activities:

You must be a member of the Nanaimo Pickleball Club before you can play at any of the club times. You must pre-register for each play day – no drop-ins.

Club Indoor Play Times at Oliver Woods unless otherwise noted: 

September to December 2019:
Tuesdays 1:30-3:30pm – 2 gyms – Sue N is coordinator
Wednesdays 8:30-10:30am – Deb B is coordinator 
Wednesdays 6:00-8:30pm – at Island Connect School – Lee is coordinator
Thursdays 8:30-10:30am – Jon is coordinator
Fridays 1:00-3:00pm – Gary is coordinator
Saturdays 3:30-6:00pm – 2 gyms – Sue H is coordinator 
Sundays 8:30-10:30am (high intermediate and advanced play) – Sean is coordinator

Monday nights 5:00-7:30pm at Oliver Woods

There are 2 options to sign up for any of the club play times. The first is to prepay for the month and be guaranteed a spot and second you can come as a spare (no guarantees that there will be a spot available). To play as a spare you can pay by punch card for each play session.

We have an online payment system through PayPal. Note, you do not need a PayPal account but can use MasterCard or Visa.


Note: Sunday Play is not available as prepaid. Please email Sean at if you would like to play.


We are fast approaching Dec 1st when we will be able to register for prepaids for January. Your executive recognizes that there have been some access issues with the large demand on the server, and many players were not able to access the links in a timely way to register. We hope we have found a solution. Rather than a link that everyone tries to connect to at the same time, we will send out a separate request to register via email, for each play session. So just like before, you will register for Tuesdays for the month or Saturdays for the month, etc. If you wish to prepay for that session, reply to the email, ensuring that the person who is registering is clearly identified by name. Please note that only one person can be registered per email, no doubling up for spouses or friends, but you may respond for a spouse in a separate email. The emails to register for January prepaids, will go out on Dec 1st at noon, only to those members who are on the google group email for that play session. The first to respond for available spots, will be ensured a place in the prepaid sessions they chose. The successful players will be sent a link that afternoon, for each session that they registered for, and will be expected to pay and complete the registration, within 24 hours. If registration is not completed within 24 hours, the request is forfeited, and the next person will be contacted. We will be holding back a number of spare positions as well, so there will still be opportunities to play for non prepaids. We will send out the finalized prepaid list to each group, after the process is complete, so you will see if you were successful or not. Please see below the sessions that will be offered for the Winter season. An important note is that we have procured an evening session for Monday nights 5:00-7:30.

It is very important that you are included in the google group emails that are sent out weekly for each session. If you currently are missing from one, you must reply to this email and request to be added, in order to be able to prepay for a session and secure a spot, on the Dec 1st registration day. Remember to please clearly identify yourself by name, in response to the play sessions email.
