This situation is changing rapidly and the Health Minister Adrian Dix, along with Dr. Bonnie Henry, BC’s
Chief Medical Officer made the announcement that anyone who chooses to travel
outside Canada must self-isolate for 14 days when arriving back in B.C. This
includes people who are coming back to B.C. now.
In light of this, the Executive highly recommends that people returning from outside of Canada to self-isolate for 14 days as a precaution before entering into the club’s play.
A suggestion was made by one of our members to encourage players to bring a few sanitizing wipes in a baggie for their own personal use to wipe down the ball, hand and paddle between matches. And as a general precaution, don’t forget to wash your hands immediately after finish playing for the day.
